(teaser for a documentary, 2013)
Writer, director, camera, sound, editing "TANGO DANCERS" Project Camera & Sound in this teaser - Anna Gerasimova Demo for the film "Solo Tango Orquesta" with some highlights of our first shoot... The film is currently in the research and production phase, we are looking for funding. Updates: Due to the lack of funding and change in the orchestra team soon after a few shoots in Moscow in 2014, we had to freeze the project for a few years. However the plan so far is to return the film in later years with an updated concept. |

"I LOVE" (aka. "Люблю"), interviews are in Russian ~ 2003-2005ish This is a short student documentary about boogie-woogie dancers which I personally love a lot :). A friend of mine, Olga Teterina was a producer and cameraman, she shot the film with her classmate and I've done editing for this film when i was learning editing in the early years :). There is a lot of dance in there so maybe words are not needed. In the interviews the characters mostly share their love for boogie-woogie and swing. |

"Walking Venice"
An amateur short documentary about Venice. (~ not sure about the year, 2003-2005ish) When I arrived to Venice for the first time I was very surprised how much of a walking one has to do to be able to see the beauty of that medieval town. On my 2nd day of the trip I borrowed an "old-fashioned" bulky camcorder from an aquaintance from Venice and took footage walking around Venice from a tourist's perspective. What stroke me most was that Venice was essentially about walking! (unless you could afford many gondola rides) Wherever one goes there you are always among many similar tourists roaming the streets of Venice. It was a very hot July season, with no shade to hide from the sun and only yummy gelato would make the day a bit more refreshing. When I got home tried to practice editing skills to create this simple documentary. Unfortunately no higher resolution footage is available for this film. However I hope you will enjoy it :). cheers Tatiana |
